Interaction Design Institute Ivrea was a two-year graduate program in the field of Interaction Design which
lead to the birth of Arduino and other inventions at the crossroad of information sciences and
design.
Some
say that the entire discipline of interaction design was born there.
The institute's work had a significant impact on the field of human-computer interaction, and
its approach to design research influenced the field of interaction design.
The institute was also notable for its focus on the user experience, and its emphasis on
user-centred design. The tradition and spirit of IDII carried on, as Alumni and ex-faculty founded new schools like CIID in Copenhagen and IUAV in Venice and others.
In my work, I am dedicated to helping people connect with their purpose, tap into their creativity,
and design meaningful and fulfilling interactions.

Open Source Hardware
Wiring is an open-source electronics prototyping platform composed of a programming language, an integrated development environment (IDE),
and a single-board microcontroller. It was developed in 2003 by Hernando Barragán.
Wiring makes it easy to create software for controlling devices attached to the electronics board to create various interactive devices.
Arduino is an open-source hardware and software platfrom forked from Wiring board. it serves as a creation platform , which is flexible and easy to use, designed for desginers, makers and developers.
I was teaching Physical computing at Interaction Design Institute Ivrea (IDII), participating and assisting the birth of both Wiring and Arduino open source hardware platforms.
During this time, I developed a curriculum that focused on the fundamentals of physical computing combined with a "hands-on" approach, including the basics of electronics, programming, and fabrication. I also taught a variety of workshops and classes on topics such as robotics, game design and embedded systems.
